This coat from Filippa K is the best investment I have ever made. Style it with a good pair of boots and skinny jeans and you have all you need to survive autumn.

Happy new week!

Sundays are for relaxing and that calls for comfy outfits. For me that always includes an oversized knit, preferably wool seeing as I’m always cold. This one from T by Alexander Wang is one of my absolute favorites.

Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was spent running around at IKEA looking for some green plants for the livingroom and a shoe rack. Ended up with quite a few plants and a “Billy” shelf. And of course the mandatory IKEA hotdog!

Today I have been playing around with the thought of colouring my hair. I have to cut it soon and that means that my sun bleached ends will disappear and my hair gets darker. I am therefore wondering if I should get some highlights are something.. I also want a color with colder tones, compared to my naturally warm/golden hair. What do you guys think?

The other day I made a knitting recipe for the first time, and I had so much fun. This hat only takes an episode of Gilmore Girls to finish??, plus you have a lot of fun and it is really easy. So get your needles and get to it!

??

I call it  the “cray cray for grey grey” hat.

This recipe is for a size 57 cm, if you want it smaller/bigger just add/remove some stitches.

What you will need:

– a set of five 9mm (US 13) double pointed needles

– about 100 grams of a thick yarn where 50grams measures 80 meter. I used the yarn “Cloud” from the brand Drops.

Procedure:

– cast on 50 stitches (I cast them loosely onto two needles so that the rim won’t be tight) using double thread

– working in the round, knit 2 and purl 2

– repeat until you have the desired lenght (remember to include the folding edge). My hat is approx. 30 cm

– pull the thread (layer it double so that you have four threads) through the stitches without knitting them and tighten

– fasten the thread and tie all loose ends

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hehey!

Some pics of my latest outfit. Love the grey+black combo for fall. Also have my eyes on some outfits combining grey and camel. Love autumn’s color scheme!

I made this hat myself with a recipe I also made myself. Recipe will be up later today.

Favorite boots from Zara.

“The tuck” is perfect for oversized sweaters in fall

Black nails with the new nailpolishes from H&M. I really recommend it! It dries really quickly and you only need one layer. Can’t wait to try some more stuff from their new beauty line.

Good morning! Or should I say good afternoon? I started my Monday slow with an espresso and some dark choclate in bed, a perfect way to kick off this new week if you ask me.

Today I am planning my week and this week’s dinner meals as I do every Monday seeing as I don’t have any lectures. On the menu this week (everything made from scratch!) are kebab, spaghetti with meatballs, pizza, exciting hot dogs with everything, and salmon with strawberries and capers. Can’t wait!

Fresh blooms for a fresh week

I have a lot to do this week with uni, job, IKEA etc, but I will try to post some new outfits for you guys! Wishing you all a wonderful new week!

IMG_3956-1 This cake will kill you. I mean seriously kill you.. You will not be able to stop eating its delicious chocolate-ness , thereby it leading to your next heart attack. I'm sure chocolate cake will be the end of me, but I've made my peace with it. It will be a good way to go, don't you agree? This recipe is from Dr. Oetker, so you can also find the recipe there. Only difference is I added a splash of yoghurt to get a more moist cake. ENJOY!

Chocolate cake:

60 grams butter

50 grams dark chocolate, chopped

75 grams granulated sugar

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla sugar

1/4 tsp baking powder

75 grams flour

(Optional: A splash of yoghurt naturelle)

Procedure:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees (convention oven).

Melt the butter and chocolate. Stir egg and sugar together until fluffy. Add flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Next add the chocolate/butter and pour the batter into a 20cm springform.

Bake for 20-25 minutes and let it cool completely before adding the chocolate mousse.

For the chocolate mousse I used Dr. Oetker Cake Mousse with chocolate flavour.
